I had planned to give the kids a little something for Valentine's Day, but the day came and went before I was able to give them my gift. I had made a printable and bought the necessary accompanying items, but failed to make sure there was ink in the printer :( Lesson learned!
The kids were just as thrilled however, when I presented them with their gift on Friday night (our most special meal together each week). Last year for our anniversary, I made my hubby an 'I love you because....' wall hanging inspired by this

Writing a regular 'I love you' message has been a lovely addition to our relationship, and a much envied one by our children. So for Valentine's Day this year I made our kids their own 'You are special because....' signs. They have been hung together in the well trafficked hall way now dubbed 'The Wall of Praise'.
It has been so lovely not only writing each child messages, but seeing the messages they have written for each other!
